Pandora Data Quality Management Edition
X88 Pandora enables organisations to produce three quantitive, financial and directional data quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
in minutes rather than the weeks or months that most companies take.
Scores are determined for each data quality rule, and different levels of consolidated scores
presented for each Column and Table on a Data Quality Dashboard.
User-defined thresholds determine whether the quality of the data is acceptable and
whether the quality objectives have been met, with visual traffic-light indicators.
Business Relevance for Data Quality
Data quality issues on a record for a €1M transaction are
more important than issues for a €100 transaction, so Pandora allows the
association of a measure with each table and
calculates the business importance of each record dynamically according to the value of its measure.
The measure can be taken directly from another column,
or can be derived dynamically using a rule, such as a calculation or a lookup into another table.
The result is a financial KPI which associates data quality issues with their
potential monetary value (or cost!).
Defining Data Quality KPIs
In addition to the pre-defined KPIs provided by Pandora,
user-defined ones can be created and validated interactively
and then saved in the Glossary for reuse. Pandora provides full version management
and tracks where KPIs are used, allowing instant impact analysis.
You can interactively browse, manipulate and export all records having passed or failed any KPI.
Whenever a new version of a table or file is made available, the KPIs are automatically applied to the new version providing data quality measurement
over time.
